Manuscript Archival and Publication System

Credits

Manu was developed at the ACS Technology Center. The development of the initial 1.0 code was done by participants in the 2005 ACS Software Engineering Internship.

Manu is designed by and for small colleges; it seeks to be a solution appropriate for use in small colleges and small college libraries and so offers the most common services required for manuscript archiving and publication while attempting to manage the amount of configuration, overhead and complexity of what is inherently difficult and complex. To help ensure forward compatibility and interoperability, Manu uses standard, and widely-used formats for data storage (like TEI).
